For some odd reason, it smelled like baby powder to me and my family. I spoke to Customer Service and they were prompt and offered to send me one tealight that was sandalwood for me to try and see if the smell was any different. Unfortunately, it was not. It still smelled like baby powder and was not sandalwood. They need better essential oils for this one. I use sandalwood incense all the time, so I know what real sandalwood smells like and this was not it.
